A home going service for Gladstone C. ‘Peter’ Simons, son of the late Albert and Jane Simons nee Bean, beloved husband of the late Joan Simons nee Minors, loving father to the late Larry, Calvin [Joan], Gavon Simons and Joanne [Wendell] Anderson Sr. in his 94th year of # 36 Struggle Cottage, Cedar Hill, Warwick WK06. Funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 23 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Salvation Army, North Street Citadel, Hamilton City. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Church Cemetery, Warwick.
A walk thru visitation will be held on Tuesday, 22nd March 2022 at AMIS Memorial Chapel, Khyber Pass, Warwick from 7:00 to 8:30pm. Wednesday, 23rd March 2022 at Salvation Army, North Street Citadel at 12 noon.
He leaves to cherish his memory grandchildren: Sharilyn, Calvina, Kaleah, Jakea, Larri, Wendell II, Justus and Roneisha and great grandchild Kyjah. Siblings: Betty, Ethel, Vincent, Harry, Raymond [Loraine], Edward Hashin and Earlston Brown[Olive] In-laws: Pearl Brown, June Brannon, Virginia Minors, Dorreen Romeo and Sharon ‘Bobbie’ Miller. Godchildren: Julie Kay Darrell, Valerie ‘Christine’ Pearman, Lynn Douglas, Vanessa Persad-Edwards and Cindy Smith. Special niece: Linda Manders. Special family: Joycelyn Howes and Ronnelle Dillion, Numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends too many to mention.
He was predeceased by sister Celeste Simons, brothers Kenneth [Margaret] and Clifton Simons and Leonard Brown; In-laws Earl [Rosalyn], Lloyd, Earnest [Barber], Herbert and Norman [Jean] Minors, Johnny Brannon, Llewellyn Bean, Ezar Miller, Alice Pearman, Mary Burchall, Leila Kea [Robert], Brenda and Marjorie Simons. Grandson Eugene Christopher. Regretfully, cousin and brother in law Mr. David Burchall recently passed away on Saturday, 12th March 2022.
