Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Mrs. Glenda Loretta Smith.

A celebration of life service for Mrs. Glenda Loretta Smith, widow of the late Lyndon C. Smith Sr., daughter of the late Spurgeon and Inez Phillips, loving mother to Lyndon Smith [Hyacinth] and Trevor Smith [Erica], sister to Asquith Phillips [Veronica] and Michael Phillips [Ann], Jacquelyn Clarke, Lessiline Williams and Mabel Smith, in her 80th year, of 14 Suffering Lane, St. Georges, will be held at Allen Temple AME Church, Sandys, Today June 17th, 2021, at 3:00 pm.

Interment will follow at St. James Church Cemetery, Sandys.

There will be no viewing.

Flowers may be sent.

She is survived by her brothers-in-law: Graham Smith [Omaira] and Michel Chameau [Veronica]; sisters-in-law: Marva Phillips, Veronica Phillips [Asquith], Beth Phillips, Ann Phillips [Michael], Veronica Chameau [Michel] and Omaira Smith [Graham]; 3 grandchildren: Dante Hollis, Zoe Smith and Donnalyn Smith; 1 great grandchild: Tau Gibbons; nieces: Vanessa Phillips-Williams, Heather Bean, Karla Phillips, Kelly O’Leary, Katrina Knights, Nicole Smith, Philipa Sidebottom, Jennifer Phillips and Christine Phillips-Harrell; nephews: Andrew Phillips, Leon Smith, Lorin Smith, Richard Phillips, Guy Phillips, Jason Williams, Keith Clarke, Kevin Clarke, Corey Butterfield, Christin Butterfield, Graham Smith Jr. and Carl Smith; godson: Richard “Cain” Burchall; special family friends: Georgina White, O’Shandah Ming, Tre Ming, Gaynell Hollis, Donyae Hollis, De-Roger Hollis; Marylee Watson and Wendy Hall; family and friends overseas; friends at the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Bermuda; doctors and nurses at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital; and numerous family and friends island-wide too numerous to mention.

Choice of colours can be worn. There will be no wake.

For family and friends not in attendance, the funeral and interment will be broadcast live on TNN Live on Facebook on Thursday June 17th.

Covid-19 precautions are to be observed. Mask and hand sanitation will be required and social distancing observed.
