We regret to announce the passing of Glenn Kenneth [“Dingback”] Simmons

A Homegoing service for Glenn Kenneth [“Dingback”] Simmons, beloved Husband of Maxine Simmons, loving father of the late Damaine [“Butchie”] Simmons, Mahogany Bean, Glenice and Maxon Simmons, beloved son of the late Pearl and Aubrey Simmons, loving brother to Diane Hunt [late Harry], Donna Smith [Rudolph], the late Llewellyn, Wesley and Richard Simmons and Carlton [“Chalk”] Thayer and his beloved Bermuda Industrial Union, in his 68th year of 15 Upland Lane Devonshire, will be held at The Hamilton Seventh day Adventist Church, Sunday 15, 2020 at 2pm.

Interment will follow the service at Emmanuel Methodist Church Cemetery, Southampton.

Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at St. Paul AME Church, Today, Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm ONLY.
Glenn is survived by his Aunts; Eleanor Smith and Marie Vickers.Nieces: Tyra Simmons, Marcia Drummond, Janice Mullings-George, Opal Grant and Shelley Riley; Nephews: Troy Smith, Harry Hunt, Sean Simmons, Tyrone Smith, Marco Drummond, Devere Dobbs, Raymond George and Steven Riley; Honorary daughter: Christine Bogle-Mienzer; Sisters in Law: Sherrill Montaque; Jayan Clarke, Magarett McLeach, Erica Uter, Kadeen Dobbs. Brothers in Law: Vivian [“Suitie”], Nehru, and Haniff Powell, Rae, Hilton, Vinroy and Keith Dobbs.
40 great nieces and nephews, numerous cousins, godchildren, friends and colleagues with whom he loved.
