A service celebrating the life of Gloria Macbelle Wilson nee Dismont, devoted and beloved wife of the late Morris E. Wilson, loving mother of Coral and Cathy Wilson, cherished daughter of the late Gordon and Gladys Dismont nee Dyer; beloved sister to the late Henry Roy Dismont, Sr. [the late Joan], the late Ernest Gordon Kingsley Dismont [the late Frances], the late Gladwyn Noel Dismont [the late Marion], and the late Jacqueline Rosemary Dismont Marson [the late Sidney]; beloved sister-in-law to the late Cyril Wilson, the late Reginald Wilson [the late Ruth], the late Leroy Wilson [the late Edna], the late Austin Wilson [the late Lois and the late Elphina], the late Donald Wilson [the late Barbara], and the late Frederick Saltus [the late Carolyn] in her 99th year of #5 Mill Reach Road, Pembroke HM05 will be held on Friday, 26th July, 2024 at St. Paul AME Church, 59 Court Street, Hamilton HM12 at 11 am.
There will be no viewing. The service will be streamed over the church’s Facebook and YouTube platforms. Interment will follow in St. John’s Church Cemetery, St. John’s Road, Pembroke HM13.
She is dearly remembered by nieces: Michelle Dismont-Frazzoni [Elis], Sonia Burgess [McAllister], Kari White, Andrea Dismont Trott [Christopher], Sasha White, Dianne Marson Smith, Melba Wilson, Maryanne Wilson, Ivy Wilson, Bernadette Wilson, Donnell Wilson, Victoria Saltus, Victoria Outerbridge [Leroy], and Joy Symonds [Angello]; nephews: Brent “Brad” Dismont [Ashley], Sergio White [Khamla], Michael Marson, Larry Marson [Kathy], Jeffrey Marson, Walter Wilson, Bruce “Wolde” Mikael Wilson [Gail], and Eliyahtsoor “Melville” Saltus [Suriellah]; special cousins: Dismont, Dyer, Bascome, Joell, Wilson and Saltus families; special friends: Butterfield, Corbin, Fubler, Griffiths, Hill, James, Minors, Musson, Outerbridge, Richardson, Simons, Stowe and Trott families; god-daughter Michelle Dismont-Frazzoni; god-son Brent Simmons; numerous other great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, relatives and friends too many to mention.
