Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Grace Eileen Simmons.
A homegoing service for Grace Eileen Simmons, loving wife of the late Allan Eugene Simmons, beloved mother of Marcia Pond [Vincent], Brent Simmons [Lucy], Paul Simmons, Ianthia Simmons-Wade [late L. Frederick Wade], daughter to the late William E.R. and Grace Lillian Joell and sister of the late Rosemary Cann, Joyce Hayden, Elsie Stafford, Lillian Wilson [Leroy], Faith Tatem [special cousin] in her 97th year of 12 Flowercote Lane, Smiths, will be held at St. John’s Church, Pembroke on Friday, January 10, 2025.at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at St. John’s Church Cemetery.
She also leaves to cherish her memory, grandchildren: Jermayn Pond, Trevor Pond, Yannick Simmons [Jimena], Kainoa Simmons, Ceola Wade, Kamela Wade, L. Frederick Wade, Brandon Simmons, Ian Simmons, Jonathan Simmons; great grandchildren: Jakayla Pond-Roberts, JaeLeia Pond, Suri Daniels, Nasir Pond, Noah Pond. Devoted caregivers: Chandra & Paulette, god-daughter: Cathy Wilson, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends both here and abroad.
