AMIS Memorial Chapel, regrets to announce the death of Mrs. Grace Shirley Rosalie Louise [nee Smith] Fox beloved widow of the late Harry Arnold Fox and daughter of the late Joseph and Ada Smith of Trelawney Court, Pembroke, in her 88th year. Shirley is survived by her 2 sons Steven [Alex] and Bruce as well as her 2 grandsons Alex [Natasha] and Sam and her daughter-in-law forever, Margaret. She was predeceased by her brother Ebert [Mary] Smith and sisters Hattie [George] Desilva and Adele [Tony] Madeiros. Shirley was the former Head of CIF of the Bank of Bermuda Ltd. A funeral service will be held at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, South Road, Smith’s on Monday September 4th, 2023 at 3 p.m. Interment of her ashes will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Middle Road, Paget.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday 2nd September 2023 at AMIS Memorial Chapel, Khyber Pass, Warwick from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.
Shirley is also survived by her deeply cherished sister Pat [Ozzie] Osborn of Texas; special nephews William [the late Maryann] Madeiros, David [Jean] Mathias, Fred [the late Joan] Pimentel, Thomas Osborn; special nieces Sharon [the late David] Mello, Linda Madeiros, Roxanna [Patrick Cauchi] Knights, Penny [Alan] Perry and Bonnie [David] Rance; God-children Scott Lopes, Susan [Jesus] Santivanez and Colin [Heather] Mello; dearest friends Ellen Gibbons and La-Verne Tucker and numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
