A celebration of life for Grace Victoria Elizabeth Prime-Jackson, JP [nee Saltus] will be held at Vernon Temple AME Church, #6 Hawthorn Lane, Southampton on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 2:30pm. The interment will follow at St. Mary’s Church, Warwick.

Family and friends visitation will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024 at AMIS Memorial Chapel, Khyber Pass, Warwick from 6:00 to 7:30 pm only. Born the eldest daughter of Grace Busby [nee Saltus] in 1933, she is survived by her daughters Rev. Dr. Georgette Prime-Godwin and stepdaughter Marilyn Butterfield, granddaughters, Brinae Victoria Godwin, Sonya Butterfield and grandson Carlos Butterfield.

Surviving siblings: Sylvia Robinson, Winston [Vince] Busby [Almuriel]; Calvin Busby [Isobel]; Rev. Linda Powell [Richard] and Winifred Simons. Godchildren, Dabra Rhoda- Jean Samuels, Wendell Dill, Calvin Burrows, Ruby Smith [predeceased] and Danielle Daniels. Victoria was predeceased by son-in-law Brian W.E. Godwin, brothers: Vernon Simons [Hazel Waters], Stephen Simons [Sandra], David Busby [Ursula]. Brother-in-laws: Snooks, Arthur, Dennis [Buster] Samuels and Winfield Robinson, Sr. Sister-in-laws: Eileen & Eunice Samuels, Lucille Hart, Dionne Wilson, Cynthia Samuels and Lorraine Walker. Special connections – Aleathea Tucker, Carmen Durham, Carolyn Bean [Myron, deceased], Carolyn Grady [USA], Colleen Dill, Cleo Raynor, Cleveland Smith, Eloise Dowling [deceased], Judith Simons [nee Pond] [deceased], Merle Brock Swan Williams, Oscar [Greg] Samuels, Pam Senegas, Paul Simmons, Rose Hodgins [USA], Sandra Trott, Valeria Tuzo, Veronica Lowe, Wilma Yearwood, the Ace-Barber Ward Team at KEMH, Sharon Curtis and her Team, Emmanuel Baptist Church and Vernon Temple Church Families and other family and friends too numerous to mention.
