Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Henry Llewelyn [Lou] Phipps.
A celebration of life for Henry Llewelyn [Lou] Phipps, well known operator of T1192, who has entered the gates of heaven, leaving his beloved wife Elsie Phipps, loving father of Eugene, Kim [Valerie], Terry [Aggie], Norbert, Tarita, Tammy and Talitta, son of Mary [Rita] and George Phipps, brother to Helene [Llewelyn] Bean, Earlston, George Phipps, Eugene [Jewel] Woods and Arthur Hurst, of 19 Green Acres, Devonshire, will be held at Christ Church Devonshire on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 11am.
Interment will follow at Christ Church Devonshire Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Augustus Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 5:00pm to 6:30pm.
Lovingly survived by grandchildren Kimeka, Kimale, Darren, Tamara, Tiffany, Sierra, Jenaya, Deonte, Taj, Dominique [Jahmyl], Darius II, Katherine, Kendra, Khalia, Keivon. In-laws Boyd Smith, Melvin Lambert, special children Shirleen, Melody, Bennett, 16 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Special friends Percy Caines, Jimmy Amos, Albert Douglas, Claude Wright, the Woolridge, Stowe, Bacardi families, Mr Johansen, Bda Island Taxi, and Blue Water Anglers.
Predeceased family Eugene Wade, Renee Bean, Darius Tucker, Moria & Elva Smith, Shirley Lambert, Buddy, Alfred, Leroy Wade, Wilfred Burgess, Snookie James, David Hurst, and Marlene Manders.
Other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
