Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Mrs. Hilda Christine Gibbons.
A homegoing service for Hilda Christine [Patsy] Gibbons [née Wilson], daughter of the late Martin T. Wilson, O.B.E., and the late Hilda Christine Wilson [Jonas], beloved mother of Granville Martin Gibbons [Susan] and Elizabeth Christine Roque [Johnny], and cherished grandmother of Severin Nicole Gibbons [Jason], Chanté Dowling [Corey], Donavin Trott [Mary], Chloe Thain, and Dionte Thain, will be held at St. Mary’s Church, Warwick, today, January 10, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
There will be no viewing.
She is lovingly survived by her great-grandchildren: Aiden Tré Tucker, Jason Wendell Richardson Jr., Susan Naomi Richardson, Keimari Burchall, Saadé Burchall, Cayli Dowling, Cyme Dowling, Caia Dowling and Leo Trott.
Special acknowledgements to special nephew Barry Leon Gibbons [Barbara Lynn], special niece Carolyn Welch, Arnold Smith [God son] and dear friends Valeria Tuzo [2nd cousin], Elvina Tuzo-Moniz [3rd cousin], Joan Talbot, Marion Lister, the Bromby Family and Brian Benevides. As well as other special friends and relatives too numerous to mention.
Attire: Colors may be worn. There will be no wake.
