A Homegoing service for Mr. Howard Eugene “Boxhead” Romaine, husband of the late Priscilla Romaine, loving father to Donna Mapp [Dennis], Judy Foley [Donald] and Andrea Talbot, brother to Sylvia Paul [Leonard] Vera Brangman [the late Morrison “Mice”] Ingrid, Helene and Milgrove “Milly” Romaine [Veronica] and the late Irving “Jack” Romaine in his 84th year of 27 Town Hill Road, Smith’s, will be held at Bethel A.M.E. Church, Today, July 27, 2023 at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
There will be no viewing.
He leaves to cherish his memory his grandchildren: Donica Romaine-Mapp and Danice Mapp, Donald III [Akilah], Donte and Danielle Foley and Michele Romaine; great grandchildren: Dutch Foley and Kaori Foley; step great grandchild: Jace Simmons; sisters-in-law: Hilda Romaine, Cynthia Smith, Victorine Creighton and the late Georgiana Place; brothers-in-law: the late Ralph and Irving Creighton; nieces: Erika Romaine, Sharon Mallory, Karen Trott [Raymond], Marie Brangman, Syreeta Goater, Simone Romaine, Serena Smith [Chris], Kandrea Romaine, Crystal Trott, Kellie and Karen Smith, Tawana Butterfield [Casey]; nephews: Irving Romaine, Brian Brangman, McRee, Jade [Zulema] and Aaron Bean, Sergio Goater and Christopher Creighton; great nieces and nephews to numerous to mention; special cousin: Wendell “Scopsie” Hassell; special friends: Conrad Albouy, Robert Simons, Neville “Boogie” Dill, Terry Sargeant, Sonia Gilbert, Gildon “Gappa” Wade, Eugene Gilbert, Howard Berkeley, Hailey Douglas, Keith Smith, Renee Raynor and Cheryl Phillips.
