Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Hubert Leroy [Doodie] Rogers.
A celebration of life for the late Hubert Leroy [Doodie] Rogers of 8 Friswells Road, Pembroke, son of Joan Rogers [DeGraff] and the late Hubert Adolf [Jinx] Rogers, will be held at the Devonshire Recreation Club, 20 Frog Lane, Devonshire on Wednesday, January 25th at 6:00pm.
He was the loving husband to Marvelyn Rogers [Gibbons] and cherished father to Donniqua [Essa] Rogers [Sean], Donne Mallory [Winslow], Tirsite Simons [English], Dhubreka Evans, Devario Whitter, Michelle, Maleeka, Makiesha Gibbons, Brother to Danny, Michael [Juliette], Larry [Kathi], Joanne and Shawnette Rogers.
There will be no viewing.
Lovingly survived by grandchildren Markino, TeAjah, II Timothy, D’Naszaye, Kynde, Tajahri, Khyje, Taijuhn, Jeanai, Xade, Yuri, Zale, Xah-Naiya, KXiyae, Quin-Xiy, Kassidy, Kaiazja, King, KeMiyah-Azaye, Khloe, Sanaa, Sanaj; great-grandchildren Xye and Zorrin; mother-in-law Rose-Ann Gibbons; brothers-in-law Trenton, Jason, Scott and Ronald; sisters-in-law Erna Enos, Stacy-Lee Cann [Davon],Ronnette Gibbons; aunts: Gloria Smith, Carol Bean [Ralph], Marlene Rogers, Beverly Samuels; uncle Glen Blakeney; special niece and nephew Kevonne [Lance] Haynes and Jahdel Rogers; nephews, nieces, godchildren too numerous to mention; special friends Delbert Edwards, Gregory “Littles” Simons, George Spencer, Michael Dillas, Hyman Bartley, Kennith “Eggs” Smith, Movita Martin, Shirley Parsons and many others both locally and abroad; the mothers of his children former Wife Donna [Enos] Burchall and Delcena Evans; grandparents Estella Rogers, Leroy and Virginia DeGraff predeceased Doodie. The family requests that the colour green be worn.
