Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Sylvia Eloise Smith of 25 Burnt House Hill, Warwick, wife of the late Gary Errol Smith, daughter of the late Maxwell and Christiana Riley, and loving and devoted mother to Gregory Wilson [Lorna], the late Kenneth “Oil” Wilson, Angela Somner [Robert]; step-son Athanasius Smith [Sherika] and step-daughter Anastasia Burgess [Andre] will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 1:00 pm at St James Church, Sandys.
Interment to follow. Grandchildren: Sherrita Lightbourne, Tiara Wilson-Outerbridge [John], Aqueelah Somner, Robert Somner, Jr, Trysten Wilson; great-grandchildren Nahzir Jones Somner, Makenzie Wilson-Outerbridge, Aiya Wilson, Noah, Lillie and Ella Smith. Siblings: the late John Riley, Maxwell Riley, Jr. [Rebecca], Venita Smith, the late Gracelyn Guishard, Grenell Stocks [Doyel], Barbara Blane [Mitchell], Beryl Furbert [David] special sisters, Shirley Foster, Marilyn Philip and Clara Saunders, brothers-in-law: Peter Wilson, Colin Simmons, Anthony “Toast” Simmons, Clermont “Duke” Joell; sister-in-law Joan Dill. Nieces: Donna Carter [Leon], Teresa Wilson [Kenneth], Belinda Harris [Edward], Loretta Whitehead [Thomas], Gracelyn Smith, Nakesha Riley-Parker [Derek], Tamara Hammer [Jason]. Nephews: Clarke Riley, Nakia Riley [Lorie], Jason Johnson, Philip Francis, Maurice Blane, Cleon Furbert.
