Hugh Richard Hassell

It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Hugh Richard Hassell aka Louie, beloved husband of the late Sheelah Veronica Hassell, son of the late Dederick Joseph and the late Lena Frances Hassell of 13 East Shore Lane, Sandys, in his 85th year.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 16th April, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Main Road, Sandys at 1:30pm. The Rosary will be held at 1:00pm. Interment will follow service in St. Joesph’s Cemetery. There will be no viewing.
He was a cherished father and is survived by his son, Gary [Maria] Ray; daughter Melanie [Hildeberto] Sousa; loving grandfather to Ethan, Brianna, Cierra and Isabella; also survived by his sisters: Eleanor Correia and Mary Stiles [USA], and brother Basil Hassell; sister-in-law Loretta Hassell and Olive Johnson [Saba]; brother-in-law Peddy Johnson [Saba]; plus, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends too numerous to mention.
