A Homegoing service for Hyacinthe Beryl Smith, beloved wife of the late Richmond Montgomery Smith, loving mother of Ronald K. Smith [Yolanda], Branwen Smith King [Adrian], Sonia B. Raynor [Eldon] Trevor M. Smith [Phaedra] and the late Clinton Richmond Smith, sister to the late Katherine Rapier, Carol Willis, Mabel Furbert, John Chadwickson Astwood, Sir James Rufus Astwood [Gloria], William Marischal Astwood, will be held at St. John’s Church on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 3:00 pm.
Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Augustus Funeral Home on Monday, October 16, 2023 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
Lovingly survived by grandchildren: Marcellus “Zac” Smith [Lena], Stasha Comeaux [Shane], Roneeka Smith [Eric], Tiffanne Thomas [Shawn], Ronald Smith [Patrice], Ryan Smith [Nathalia], Savannah Smith, Samantha Smith, Camille, Jaren and Trask Haley, Arantxa and Akilah King, Tavia, Truvy, Trevor Smith, Rodney, Senecia, Jabar and Salintae Smith, Zahra Aubrey, the late Ronald Jr.; in-laws: the late Betty Smith [Peter], Janice Kennedy [John], Newbold Smith [Elizabeth], numerous nieces, nephews, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; special friends and organizations: Kay Hayward, Marie Tucker, Patsy Gibbons, late Joan Dismont, The Berkeley Institute, St. John’s Church, St. John’s Altar Guild, South Shore/Cobbs Hill Warwick families and friends, Bermuda Track and Field Association [now BNAA].
