It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Janet Ernestine Outerbridge, beloved wife of the late Donald Outerbridge and loving mother of Donald Outerbridge Jr. [Paula], Alan Outerbridge, Anthony Outerbridge [Helen], Carolyn Robinson [Keith] and Irving Outerbridge [Tiffany], in her 96th year of 11 Naval Tanks Hill, St. George. Janet was a cherished member of the Baileys Bay and St. Georges communities. She was known for her kindness, friendliness, culinary skills, and unwavering love for her beautiful family and her beloved Ebenezer Methodist Church family.
A funeral service for Janet Outerbridge will be held at The Ebenezer Methodist Church, 9 York Street, St. George, on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Viewing will be held at The Ebenezer Methodist Church on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Interment will follow the service on April 16, 2025, at The Ebenezer Methodist Church Cemetery.
Janet is lovingly survived by her aforementioned children; grandchildren; Shannon, Ryon and Carlo Outerbridge, Bridget Martin [Donnie], Jah-Jah Robinson [Kim], LaKeitha Cunningham [David], Chantal Signor [Charles], Alan Outerbridge Jr. and Jared Outerbridge [Melissa], Anthonette Cann [Damian], Nadra Holland, Irving Jr. [Elizabeth], Aaliyah and Ethan Outerbridge, Javon Zuill [Avrel]; great-grandchildren: Milon Outerbridge [Keen], Denim Cann, London Holland, DaKai and LaKeirah Cunningham, Riley, Jaidyn and Marcelo Robinson, Nala, Nyah, Javen and Mila Outerbridge, Alaysia and Torian White, Arianna Stoneham, Taj, Alani and Aylah Signor, Cianna, Camden and Cerena Martin, Shantel Washington, Taijuan Talbot, Shaneva Outerbridge, Zephania Trott, Samori Place, Noah and Nyla Maharaj, Quinn Outerbridge, Shea Pitcher [Shondrica], Arya-Rose and Alaya-Rose Zuill; great-great grandchildren; Nu’lay Washington, Avery and Ayla Pitcher; sisters; Constance Gray, Lydia Foggo, Nell Deshields, Helen Wade; stepchildren; Sean Symons [Cheryl], the late Alan Symons [Jenette]; other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Janet was predeceased by parents; Victor and Amelia Trott; husband; Donald Outerbridge Sr; siblings; Melvin, Varnell, Jack, George, Herbert, Victor Jr. and Marecheaux Trott, Marion Edmead; daughter-in-law; Shernelle Outerbridge; grandchildren; Marta Johnson, Nikki Maharaj, and Icen Robinson.
