AMIS Memorial Chapel regrets to announce the death of Janice [Janet] “Sis” Elvina Durham of Upland Lane, Devonshire, in her 83rd year, daughter of the late Henry George Durham and the late Helena Elizabeth Durham [née Smith]. Loving mother to Janet, Henry [Kim], and Patrick [Devika]; nana to Tiffany, Ashton & Marc Anthony Durham; great-grandmother to Caius Durham; sister to Marion “Jean” [deceased], Robert, Philip “Peter” [Graceann], Sylvia “Polly”, Henry Brownlow [deceased], Emma, and Brenda [deceased], Kenneth; aunt to Eva-Jean, Rosa [godchild], Rosita, Donald, Willis [deceased], Andre [deceased], Vanessa, Derick, Mahlon “George”, John, Fontella, Margaret, Sylvia “Sam”, Tanya, Christopher, Eric, Pamela, Loretta, Tyrone, Antoine, and Zina; extended family: Pamela Pitcher and family, Rosemary Matthews, Frank Pearman and family, Ideitha James, Duane Symonds, Germaine, Muriel and Asia Burt, Gherdai Hassell; numerous great nieces and nephews; numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, November 29th, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Church Devonshire, #106 Middle Road, Devonshire, DV06, Bermuda. There will be no viewing. The interment will follow the service in Christ Church Devonshire Cemetery.
