Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Joan Elizabeth Byron.

A homegoing service for Joan Elizabeth Byron, former taxi operator of T1110, daughter of the late Joseph and Marguerite Byron, loving mother to Michael Byron [Angela], sister to Lionel Smith [Valerie], June Byron, the late George Byron, George Bean, Walter Byron, Gertrude Byron-Dowling, Esther Tucker, Claire Bascome, Veta Tucker, Doris Douglas, in her 85th year of Lower West 24 Palm Valley, Southampton, will be held at St. Paul’s Church, Paget on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.

Visitation will be held at Augustus Funeral Home on Monday, April 7, 2025 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Interment to follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Paget.

Lovingly survived by grandchildren: Michael A.
