John Boyle

Amis Memorial Chapel regrets to announce the passing of John Boyle [age 78] of Burnt House Hill in Warwick. He leaves behind his loving and caring wife of 42 years Annette “Rocky” Boyle; sister-in-law Angela Johnson; niece Tinamarie Johnson; nephew Robert McNulty [Tracey]; great nephews Anthony and Jamie; great niece Kelly, as well as his pet dog Sandy. He is pre-deceased by his sister Sandra Rushton and his parents William and May Boyle. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Church in Warwick.
Interment of ashes and the wake will follow at St. Joseph’s in Somerset. Special friends include Bernie Gray [Manchester, England] and in Bermuda; The Sowerby family, the Irvine family, Sue Moench, Eddie Simpson, George Elder, David Mutch and Dave Barber. A very special thanks to the following for their caregiving advice and service: Valerie Cheape and the entre team of Bermuda at Home Caregiving Services like Joanne Josephine and Ronica.
John was a very quiet, generous, and devoted friend to all the who needed his help. He worked for 32 years at Bermuda Air Conditioning as an air-conditioning and refrigeration engineer in the repair department. For many years John was a faithful member of the former Royal Air Force Association and played darts on the Police Central Team and the East End Mini Yacht Club team. In his younger days he played on the Bermudiana Hotel football team. Originally from Manchester, England, John nevertheless called Bermuda his home for 54 years. He was also an avid collector of US coins and Bermuda stamps. John will be greatly missed by all his family and friends as he was a very loving man who had a unique personality.
