John Michael Morbey

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of John Michael Morbey. The consummate sportsman, born August 9, 1939, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2026, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. John was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and cherished friend whose warmth, strength, and love of family touched all who knew him.
John was the beloved husband of Audrey Morbey, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and partnership. He was a loving father to Craig Morbey, and Ross Morbey, and took immense pride in the family he helped build.
He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Nicole Morbey and Kristen Morbey, children of Craig Morbey, as well as Riley Morbey and Reese Morbey, children of Ross Morbey and daughter-in-law Lori Morbey. John’s greatest joy was spending time with his family, celebrating their accomplishments, and sharing in life’s simple moments together.
Known for his passion for sports, his determination, and his generous spirit, John lived life with enthusiasm and integrity. His legacy of love, resilience, and dedication to family will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
