It is with deep regret that the family of Mrs. Judith Muriel Acquaah-Harrison announce her passing in Ghana, on July 5th, 2026, in her 97th year. Muriel was the beloved wife of sixty-two years of Mr. Richard Acquaah-Harrison, and daughter of the late John James Patrick and Wilhelmina Wharton Patrick. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Kobena Bosontwe Patrick Acquaah-Harrison and Richard Kojo Egyir Acquaah-Harrison ( Mabel) ; her brother, Icen A. Patrick, and sisters in law, Jane Patrick (the late Stanley), Abigail Acquaah-Harrison, Eunice Simmons and brother in law, Victor Acquaah Harrison (Cecilia); special niece Joanne Browne Jennings (Willie) and nephews Danny, Brian (Denise), David (Cassie) Patrick; the Wharton and Thompson families; and many other beloved extended family and friends whose lives were touched by her gentle kindness, wisdom and humor. Muriel was predeceased by her sisters, Elsie Browne (James) and Lucille Jones (Eustace) and her brother, Stanley Patrick.
A Celebration of Life Service for Muriel will be held on Wednesday, August 19th 2026 at 9:00am at All Souls Chapel, Lashibi, Accra, Ghana.
