A Homegoing service for June Albertha Beek, wife of the late Kingsley Beek, daughter of the late Lillian Archibald and John Isaac, loving mother to Lillian Beek-Joell and Kinneeka Beek, sister to the late Arnold James, Leroy ‘Haywire’, Charles ‘Capers’, St. Clair ‘Yogi’ Archibald, Viola Archibald and Gwendolyn James, in her 79th year of 69 Harrington Sound Road, will be held at Marsden Methodist Church, Smith’s on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Marsden Methodist Cemetery.

There will be no viewing.

Lovingly survived by grandchildren: Khadijah, Quinn and Evan Joell and Kinneeko Beek; sisters-in-law: Judith Virgil and Janice Beek; nephew: Jose Beek and numerous other great nephews to mention; nieces:- Beverley Warno [overseas], Julica Francis [overseas], Ideitha James, Le-Ann Richardson [Larry], Thora Seymour [Dejuan] and Lauralette Virgil and numerous other great nieces to mention; cousins: Millicent Mills, Geraldine Lee, Lucille Gumbs, Crystal and Jewel Byndloss [overseas] and numerous other cousins to mention; godchildren: Danon McGowan, Shawn Smith, Nicole Rochester, Nyquill Lambert, Shawn Deshield and Llewellyn Rewan Jr.; special friends: Wendell and Lorna Emery, St. Claire “Sparky” and Willie-Mae Deshield, Robert and Cindernell Burgess, Asquith and Veronica Phillips, Sherman and Margaret Lee, Roland “Rocky” and Annette Darrell, Charles and the late Rosina Burgess, Clifford and Elizabeth “Lizzy” Stevens, Robert “Bo” and Hattie McHardy, Glendon and Brenda Smith, Daniel and Andrea Robinson, Merkell and Dorothy “Dottie” Smith, Betty Lambert, Clifton Lambert, Laurell Smith, Penny James, Brenda Vanderpool, Wanda Benjamin, Natalie Talbot, Lauren Joell, The Ladies who attended Prospect Primary School for Girls with her, the Douglas family, the Williams Family, The Smith Girls and their families, the St. Philip A.M.E.
