We regret to announce the passing of Karen Patrice Benevides-Lozada of #12 Middle Road, Sandy’s SB 01: wife of Carlos Lozada; loving daughter of Audrey Benevides-DeSilva [Saints] and the late Albert Benevides.

Visitation: Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, November 2, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at Amis Memorial Chapel & Crematory, Khyber Pass, Warwick.

Karen leaves to cherish her memories her siblings: Michael Benevides, Geralyn Roberts [Kirk], Tammy Zuill [Jamie]; nieces and nephews: Melissa Root [Lee], Tyler Zuill, Kalynn Zuill, Aria Macey [Noah], Michael Benevides Jr., John Benevides, Janita Zuill, and Joycelyn, Carlos Andreas, Santiago (Ecuador); great nieces and nephews: Bianca and Bella Root, Lilikoi and Leila Zuill, Theia and Koa Zuill, Canaan and Galilee Macey; godchildren: Ricky Saints and Carmen Martin; uncles and aunts: Roger Saints [May], Dolores Siggins, Betty Ann Lavery [Andy], Jill Benevides, David Benevides [Daisy]; numerous Cousins and relatives; special care-givers: Kristalyne Lazaro, Dona Kae Samonte, Walita Brangman; Special family friends: Jenny Medeiros, John and Debbie DeSilva who were so supportive; special friends: Terry Chapman, Debbie Brown, Debbie Davies, Blanche Burchall and so many others here and overseas who reached out to check on her.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Scars and the Family Center. Karen’s passion for children as a teacher and foster mother will be honored.
