A home going chapel service will be held in the Orchard Chapel, D H Augustus and Sons Funeral Home for Mr Kitchener Everet Simmons aka Gido, beloved husband of Hattie [June] Simmons, son of the late Victor and Florence Simmons, loving father to step-children Keithlyn and Delkeith Wilson [Hortense] and predeceased step-son Mackeith Wilson, predeceased daughter-in-law Fredricka “Freddie” Wilson-Jabbar, predeceased family: Charles [Ingrid] and Joseph Simmons, Helen Francis [Kenneth], and Marion Tyrell, surviving siblings: Rosita Burgess [Charles], Christine Pearman and Rochelle Simmons; Donor Daughter-Cousin: Jennifer Simmons; aunt: Delores Simmons [Gitts]; special cousins: Gina Trott, Madeline Simmons, and Doreen Darrell, and the Simmons and Morgans families, in his 81st year of 23 Tribe Road No. 1, Warwick, will be held Today, Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm. A Viewing from 5:00 pm – 6 pm.
Loving remembered by his grandchildren: Sean Clarke aka Ninja-Cutty, Juanita Coley [Keith], Stephanie Wilson, Aristia Lopes [Miguel], Capri Astwood [Tricray] and KeiVaughnae Simons [Yari, Special K-9 Companion]; great-grandchildren: Arissa, Zhen, Anyssa, Andre, Myliyah, Miguel, Jovie and Anola; nieces and nephews too numerous to mention; special friends: NelsonIble, George Hassell, Mickey Berkeley and Donald Hassell – deceased, Dorothy Aubrey, Carolanne Godwin, Eleanor Cyrus, Lorretta Hassell, Gloria Usher, The Somerset Country Squire Family, The Blue Waters Anglers Family, The Mid-Atlantic Boat Club Family, The Social Club Family and predeceased Ernest Usher, Ursdale Rochester.
