Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of: – Lefroy Brownlow St. Clair Place.
A homegoing service for Lefroy Brownlow St. Clair Place, the beloved husband of the late Sadie Marguerite Place, father to the late Brownlow Tucker-Smith Place, Glenda Marguerite Walker, and Charlene [Lemuel] Tyrrell, the son of the late Alfred and Julia Place, brother to the late Roderick, Gladwin, Winston, and Hilda Place, Rhoda Burrows, and Alfred Saltus, in his 108th year of Ferguson’s Park, St. David’s, will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at St. Paul A.M.E. Church at 10:00 am.
Visitation will be held at Augustus Funeral Home on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Interment to follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
Lovingly survived by grandchildren: the late Randall Walker, Glensworth [Ruby] Walker, Patrina [Greg] White, Treadwell Walker, Keicia Place, Antoine Place, Jody [Cathy] Place, Brian [Shirley] Place, Dion [Angela] Franks, Kelly Perinchief, and Shanna [Gladstone] Stovell; numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
Predeceased siblings: Roderick, Gladwin, Winston, and Hilda Place; Rhoda Burrows; and Alfred Saltus.
