Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Leon William Wilberforce “Tack” Tacklin son of the late Leonard and Beatrice Tacklin [Jones]. A Graveside Celebration of Life was held at St Peter’s Cemetery, St. George’s; loving father and best friend to Lee-Ann Tacklin Carter [Joi] and Butch; Also survived by long-term companion Theresa Callabras; sister: Catherine Blakeney [late Leon “Spider”], sister in-law: Gloria Tacklin, special granddaughters: Keisha and Lorina-Le; special great grandsons Kayden and Aayden; stepdaughter: Terry [Mike]; step grandchildren: Neilson Jr., Jonakia, Macai, Jordan and Tyler; step great grandchildren: Veronica, Masiah, Jahzae, Amya, Mahlaé, Malana and Kyla; special cousins: Florence Gibbons & Ethel Van Putten; numerous nieces, nephews, special friends and associations.
Leon was pre-deceased by siblings; Winifred Bayton, Abuwi Rasool [aka Wilfred Tacklin] and Leonard Tacklin; stepdaughter: Marlene Bean.
