AMIS Memorial Chapel regrets to announce the passing of Lionel Eugene Roberts of #1 Sugar Apple Lane, Pembroke. Beloved husband of the late Sherry Gail Roberts (nee) Dunkley, son of the late Leonard and Laura Roberts (nee Smith). Father to Lionel Jr., and Jason Roberts, Toraino and Eric Dunkley, and the late Scherrie Roberts. Brother to Cecil, Frankie Roberts, and Marie Jones (nee Roberts). Pre-deceased by brother; Maxwell Roberts, sister; Catherine Roberts (nee Swan).
The funeral service will be held on Thursday October 8th, 2026, at the Devonshire Seventh-day Adventist Church, Roberts Avenue Devonshire at 1:30pm. Interment Interment to follow in St. George Seventh-day Adventist Cemetery, Secretary Road, St. George. Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday October 7th, 2026, at AMIS Memorial Chapel, Khyber Pass Warwick from 6-7:30 p.m. only.
Lionel also leaves to cherish his memory; grandchildren Ja’kayla Roberts, Sahanna Dunkley, Journey Roberts, Ereico Outerbridge, Shai-lon Cartwright, Jericho Roberts, and Joaquin Curtis. Sisters-in-law; Caroyln Roberts, Aletha Forth, Lillian Dunkley and Debra Mussenden. Pre-deceased by Karen Campbell, Judy Phillips and Joan Roberts. Brother-in-law; David Dunkley. Pre-deceased by Bobby Dunkley, Steven Dunkley and Shervin Jones.
