We regret to announce the death of Mrs Lois Bernice Jones, daughter of the late Eldon Hayward and the late Elsie Hayward; wife of the late Ernest [Hixby] Jones; loving mother of Alvin Hayward [Vermont], David Jones, Laverne Stowe [Braxton], and the late Calvin [Jimmy] Hayward; cherished grandmother of Kim Hayward, Calvin Hayward, Glen Jones [Camille], Geno Jones and Braxton Jamie Stowe Jr; Tracy and Davina Jones, in her 93rd year, of 4 McGall’s Hill Court, Smith’s. Lois leaves to cherish her memory, brother: Hilton Hayward; sisters: Dorothy Williams [Webster], Violet Hayward, Carolyn Hollis, Martha Bean and Pearline Place.
In-laws David R Jones, Sister in-law Mary Lou Jones. Special & loving friend, Tina Fox & family; The Jehovah Witnesses’ family.
Colors can be worn.
The Memorial Service for Lois will be held at the Heron Bay Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 194 Middle Road, Southampton on December 1st, 2023 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in the St. George S.D.A. Cemetery, Secretary Road, St. George.
Lois was predeceased by brothers: Andrew [Leroy], Eugene, Cecil, Vorhees and William [Leonard] Hayward and sister: Phyllis Blyden [her twin].
