Loring Ewing Gilbert

A memorial service celebrating the life of Loring Ewing Gilbert, in his 73rd year, beloved son of the late Edward S. and Kay R. Gilbert [nee Darrell], grandson of the late Edward A. and Muriel Gilbert [nee Burns] and the late Ewing and Ida Darrell [nee Steede], will be held on Sunday, December 1st, 2024, at the Somerset Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 6 Beacon Hill Road, Sandys, at 3:00 pm.
He was the brother of Michael, Roderick, Colin, and the late Kamala and Pamela Gilbert; uncle to Kamalita Lawla, Deandre Proctor, Denika and Matthew Gilbert; special cousin Monroe Darrell Sr., special friends: Orin Simmons, Derek Francis, Keth Hollis, Eugene Williams, Nelsalene and Toodles Bremar, Vance, Haile and Rhonda Malakot, Noki Anderson; goddaughter Kiwanna, and many other family, acquaintances, and friends too numerous to mention.
Loring was predeceased by uncles: Granville [Grace], Rudolph [Conchita], Eugene [Betty], Malcolm [Coralie], and Victor [Yvonne] Gilbert, Gary, Dave, Roland [Annette], Roswald [Joyce], and Randell Darrell; aunts: Marilyn Burgess [Hilton], Nelda Darrell [Cecil], Elva Felder [George], Rosalie Duncan [Ron], and Lynnell Lovell [Wendell]; and special friend Mervin Cross.
