It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lucy Maria DeSilva, born November 16th, 1958 – died December 25th, 2022, of #6 Middle Road, Warwick. Loving wife to David J. DeSilva, beloved daughter of Manuel S. Furtado and Angelina Medeiros Furtado; beloved sister to Albey Furtado and brother Luis Furtado; sister-in-law Suzanne Furtado and Jeananne McConnie and brother-in-law Michael DeSilva.
A service celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Christ Presbyterian Church, Middle Road, Warwick at 11:00am. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Methodist Cemetery, Secretary Road, St. George. There will be no viewing.
She leaves to be dearly remembered by special nieces, nephews and spouses: Justin G. DeSilva, Kyle Furtado [Sandy], Kayla Counts [Zach], Andy McConnie [Loretta], Michael DeSilva Jr. [Geneive], Shauntia Steed, and Deshaun DeSilva [Ronnel]. A special mention to her godchildren Darian Ray, Matteo Frazzioni, and Sabrina Sirard, many family members, and good friends.
