Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the death of Mansfield Alexander ‘Bojangles’ Smith
A Home-Going service for Mansfield Alexander ‘Bojangles’ Smith, husband of the late Madge Oferral Smith, son of the late Cyril and Frances Smith, father to Wendell [Leanora], Clay [Nicole] Smith, Jenna Cleckley, Phyllis Furbert and the late Ray [Maxine] Smith in his 83rd year of Slip Road Wellington, St. George’s, will be held at Glory Temple, South Side, St. David’s on Saturday, September 5th, 2015 at 2:30 p.m.
Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Flowers may be sent.
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Augustus Funeral Home Rose Chapel this Friday evening 2015 from 7:30 – 9:00 pm also at Glory Temple on Saturday, September 5th 2015 from 1:30 – 2:15 p.m.
Also surviving are grandchildren: Courtney, Carmen, Phylicia, Christopher, Mohagany, Jonte Hailey, Clay, Jalen and Gus; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers: Calvin-Leon [Laverne], Mickey Robinson, Gladwin Paynter; sisters: Betty Christopher [Wentworth], Elise Colvin; daughter-in-law: Nicole Smith, Leanora Stovell-Smith, Maxine Smith; Brothers-in-law: Wentworth Christopher, Rupert & Ralph Smith; sisters-in-law: Laverne Smith, Gaynelle Smith, Brenda Smith; nieces: Pamela Greason, Elizabeth Christopher, Carole Smith, Peggy Jackson, Martina Hollis, Wendy Smith, Leslie Swan and Rita Tucker; nephews: Basil Outerbridge, Kevin Christopher, Calvin Smith, Collis Smith, Earl Smith, Robert & Kennedy Smith; special friends: Ritchie ‘Bunny’ Foggo, John Richardson, Neville Swainson, Allan Caisey, Noel Smith and numerous other relative and friends, too numerous to mention.
Mansfield was predeceased by his brother: Cyril Smith; sister: Verbena Daniels; mother-in-law: Nessie Smith; father-in-law: Ralph Smith.
