It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Maria Encarnacao Aguiar at the beautiful age of 101 years; of # 24 Kilderry Lane Smith’s Parish FL02. Maria was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Aguiar, loving mother to Ronnie Joseph Aguiar (Sheila) and Maria Cecilia DaCosta ( Michael); grandmother to Michael (Lindsay) and William DaCosta, bonus grandsons: David Jr. and Michael (Loretta) Burrows, Ricky and Stanley (Millie) Wright and family, Linda and Gerald Flaherty and family; great granddaughters: Tatyana and Mercedes DaCosta, bonus great granddaughters: Michaela Ratteray, Kaelyn Burrows and Kyra Vieira; bonus great grandson Michael Burrows Jr., Seven and Jayden Vieira, numerous nieces, nephews and friends in Bermuda, USA, Azores, special friends: Valerie Lightbourne, Marjorie and Sharon Pemberton; caregivers: Carolyn Dallas, Latoya Ible, Dabrina Turner and Dionne Lambe.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, 29th June 2026 at 2:00 pm at St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church, Cedar Avenue, Hamilton. The Rosary will be read at 1:30 pm. The interment will follow immediately after the service at Holy Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery, Roberts Avenue, Devonshire.
Viewing for family and friends will be held on Sunday, 28th June 2026 at AMIS Memorial Chapel, Khyber Pass, Warwick only from 6:00 to 7:30 pm.
