Marie Jane Thompson, of #7 Tribe Road 1, Devonshire, went to be with the Lord on October 13, 2023, at age 90. She was the 7th child out of 11 born to Joseph and Jacinta Baptiste.
A service celebrating her life will be held at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, Middle Road, Warwick, on Friday, November 3, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Somerset.
Surviving is daughter Diana Lyn Chaplin of New Zealand; sons Andrew Jon Thompson [wife Susan Thompson] and Kevin Andrew Thompson of Texas; granddaughter Jessica Gibbons; grandson Damian Thompson; sisters Lorraine Whitney and Jeanette DeSilva of Washington [Darrell DeSilva]; brother Raymond Baptiste; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins in Bermuda and abroad.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Andrew Morton Thompson and daughter Kathleen [Kathy] Ann Thompson.
Donations in her honor may be made to friends of The Hospice.
Smart casual attire and colors may be worn.
