Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Marion Virginia Matthew [Nee Christopher].
Marion Virginia Matthew [Nee Christopher], daughter of the late Ismay and Egbert Christopher, loving mother of Jeanette Matthew and the late Jason Matthew and grandmother of Dr. Tameisha Matthew, and stepson Kenneth Matthew Jr [Arnette] in her 89th year, of 18 Cherry Hill Park, Paget. Funeral Service will be held at the New Testament Church of God Heritage Worship Centre, Today April 9th,2022 at 11am.
Interment to follow at St. Johns Cemetery, Pembroke.
There will be no public viewings.
Marion leaves to cherish her memory brother Wentworth [Betty] Christopher; sisters-in-law Eunice Christopher, Kathy Christopher, Donna Christopher-Peets [Kirk], Marlene Christopher. Nephews Haile Maskal [Wolete], Ellsworth, Kevin [Jonelle], Colin [the late Deborah], Michael [Lisa], Aron, Tarik [Elaine], Galen [Sarah] Christopher and Robin Woolridge. Nieces Elizabeth Christopher, Roxanne Christopher, Jeannaire Christopher-Peters, Janel Christopher, and Gina [Jermaine] Benjamin. Great Nephews and Nieces: Kinfa Maskal, Makai Christopher-Lindsay, Dwayne, Dean and Kristy Simons, Diara Benjamin, Caelin Peters, Tanaya, Tyler, Kayla, Kyle, Jayden, and Riley Christopher. Great-great Nephews and Nieces: Yasmine and Khyrie Simons, Anaya, and Ayana Christopher. Marion was predeceased by son Jason Matthew, brothers Boyson, Egbert, Ellsworth, Calvin, and Dr. Joseph Christopher; sister Ismay Ray, sister-in-law Hazel Christopher, Nieces Valerie Simons, and Rochelle Christopher.Special friends Dr. Ruth Mary [Hazel] Bean, Rev. O’Brian and Ismay Cartwright, Mother Margaret Lambe, the New Testament Church of God, Heritage Worship Centre family, Harrington Sound School Community and numerous other friends and relatives.
