A Homegoing service for Maurice James Westmore Furbert, Beloved husband of the late Sheila Genevieve Furbert nee Waldron. Son of the late Wilfred James and Kathleen Arabelle Furbert nee Grant, Loving Father of Doronda“Dee” Francis [Dennis], Maurice Furbert [Carol], Alfred Furbert [DeOnie], Debora Butterfield, Terry Daniels [Donald], Sonja Seaman, Wesley Furbert [Dorothy “Dee Dee”] and Edmund Furbert [ Jackie]. Special Son & Daughter Steven & Suzanna Cardoza, in his 90th year of 9 Cove Valley St. Georges, will be held at Somers Garden, York Street St. Georges on Sunday July 30, 2023 at 2pm.
Interment will follow at St. Peters Cemetery.
Lovingly survived by GrandChildren: Mckeisha Smith, Jay [Zakiya] and Shea Smith [Erin], Allan, [Redell] Butterfield [Tianny], Howard Paynter Jr [Rashena], Maurice Furbert [Cheellee], D-Mitri Butterfield [Anchinesh], Dannielle Furbert, Kris Furbert, Shayne Furbert, Kelly Simons-Muhammad [Husayn], Kiera Furbert, Keijon Butterfield, Kayla Simons, Alanae Butterfield, Justin Durrant, Ashia Furbert, Kierra Simons, Colin Seaman, Nathan Furbert. 24 Great Grands,1 Great Grand. Brothers: Llewellyn, Graeme [Roslyn], Charles and Ross Furbert, Sisters: Patricia Hodson, Janet Richardson, Helene Dill [Robert], Sister-in-law; Erlin Waldron-Gibbons Aretta, Dorothy, Delores and Annette Furbert. Nieces / Nephews Too numerous to mention. Maurice was Predeceased by brothers-Winslow Cox, Nell, Wilbur, Leonard, Willard, Wilfred & Richard Furbert; Sisters- Mildred “Molly” Aubrey and Tiny Smith.
