It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Michael Joseph DeCosta [Chisel], of #97 North Shore Road, Hamilton Parish. He is predeceased by his loving parents, Joseph and Natalie DeCosta, and his beloved brothers Carl, Victor [Deborah], and Edward [Margaret]. He is survived by his beloved wife Fernanda; loving children Michelle and Rachel; beloved grandchild Enzo Pacheco; beloved sister Matilda Pitcher [Alvin]; beloved nephews Andrew [Hannah] DeCosta, Earl [Rebecca] Wescom, Christopher DeCosta, David DeCosta and Richard DeCosta [deceased]; beloved nieces Christine [Ryan] Doulat, Melloney and Melissa Wescom and Suzanna DeCosta; numerous beloved great-nephews and great-nieces; and friends too numerous to count. Funeral services will be held at St. Theresa’s Cathedral, Cedar Avenue, Hamilton on Wednesday March 22 at 2:00pm. Interment to follow at the Holy Calvary Cemetery, Roberts Avenue, Devonshire. Attendees are encouraged to wear black and /or purple.
