AMIS Memorial Chapel regrets to announce the passing of Mildred Albertha [Snooky] Thompson.
A homegoing celebration for Mildred Albertha [Snooky] Thompson, beloved wife to the late Rev. James Alton Thompson, daughter of the late Edmund H.G. Berkeley and the late Mildred Gray Burns Berkeley; grandmother of the late Selena Dawn Thomas, loving mother to Sandy Thompson, Beverly Thomas [Errol], Moira-Jean Thompson, Carol Tucker and Betty Azzario, in her 91st year of # 6 First Avenue, Pembroke.
The service celebrating her life will be held on Friday 4th October 2024 at the Evening Light Pentecostal Church, Parsons Road, Pembroke at 3:00pm. Interment will follow the service in Pembroke Parish Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Evening Light Pentecostal Church from 2:00 to 2:45 pm prior to the service.
She leaves to cherish her memory siblings: Edmund [Lefty] Berkeley, Sylvia Darrell and Winifred [Winnie] Daniels; grandchildren: Giulia, Octavia [Karlos], Alex, Ana, Priscilla [Nahki], Carolita and Shannon; great grands: Khomeni, Damian, Angelina, Kimori, Mercy, Genesis, Lucas, Cruz and Exodus; dearest friend and confidant Edith Lightbourne; numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren; surviving sisters-in-law: Dorothy Matthew, Geraldine Bernardo and Rosalie Thompson; predeceased uncle Jimmy Berkeley; predeceased sisters-in-law: Eva and Audrey Thompson and Catherine Simmons; predeceased father and mother-in-law: John and Louisa Thompson; adopted children: Lola Brangman, Wayne and Sharon Scott, Dr. Danette Ming; special family and friends: Friswells Hill and Cavendish Heights neighbours, Burns and Berkeley families, Old St. Michaels Staff, Peter Farge, Carol and Donna Clarke, other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
