Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of: Minnie Barbara Tacklyn [née Durham], in her 92nd year, beloved wife of the late Alvin Reginald Tacklyn, and daughter of the late Cecil and Thalia Durham of 18 Warwick Park, Warwick WK05, on September 26th, 2024.

Minnie Barbara is survived by her children, Kirk, Paula-Mae Bean [Adrian], Barbara ‘Carolann,’ Kent [Cynthia], and Keith [Keysha]; grandchildren, Rahsaan Smith [Latoria], Rhea Bean-Bates [Larry], Rheneka Bean, Danerio, Keith Trott, Keana, and Keytha; great-grandchildren Erick, Jahcari, Nikko, Devyn-Nya, Daroi, Dacilyn, Rahsaan Jr., Yuri, Rahshi, and Khloe; great-great-granddaughter Khemani; sisters Thelma ‘Peggy’ Brangman [Ted], Janet DeGrilla, Nasirah Isaac, Deborah Durham; sisters-in-law Betty Pearman and Deanna Durham; godchildren Cole Simons, Lynn Millett, Ivan Trott, Lynne Meens; nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends too numerous to mention. Special friends include Marie Carter, Lola Beane, and the Church of Christ family.

Minnie Barbara was predeceased by her grandson Darren Minors; brothers Ernest Flood, Edward, and Cecil [Junks] Durham; and sisters Marion Smith, Cecily Simpson, and Judy Oliver.

As per Barbara’s wishes, a private graveside celebration was held on October 10, 2024, at 11 am at St. Mary’s Graveyard.
