Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of: – Muriel Isabel Richardson [nee] Matthie
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Muriel Isabel Richardson [nee] Matthie, loving wife of the late Herman Richardson; mother to the late Gladwyn Matthie daughter of the late Nestor and Mary Matthie; sister to the late Nestor [Jr.], Reginald, Edward and Frankie Matthie, Joan Matthie, Winifred Streete and Barbara [Lucy] Walker in her 84th year formerly of Broad Alley, St. Georges.
A service celebrating her life will be held Today, Tuesday, June 4th, 2024 at 11:00am at St. Peter’s Church, 33 York Street, St. George’s. Interment of ashes will follow at St. Peter’s Church Cemetery. There will be no viewing.
Muriel leaves to cherish her memory her nieces Claudia Smith, Sandra Outerbridge [Nolan], Brenda Burgess, Maxine Walker-Scott [Kenneth], Verna-Lee Ramsay, Blossom Hawkins [USA], Paula [USA], Giselle [USA], Selena and Lisa Matthie, Crystal Streete [USA]. Nephews Darrin Walker, Douglas [USA], Wayne Scott [USA], Reggie Jr. and Frankie Jr. Matthie. She also leaves many great nieces and nephews, cousins and other friends and family to many to mention. The family would like to extend a special thank you for the professional care received by the doctors and staff of Gordon Ward and the Agape House.
