Augustus Funeral Home and Cremation regrets to announce the passing of Noel Archibald Parris in his 88th year, of 27 North Shore Road, Pembroke West, son of the late Robert and Blanche Parris, brother to the late Carlton, Leon, George, Victor [Edith], and Roger Parris Sr, Alinda Cox, JP [the Honourable Eugene Cox], Mildred Dyer [Edmund]. Services will be held at Christ Anglican Church, Devonshire on Friday January 6, 2023 at 10:00am.
Lovingly remembered and survived by his wife Elizabeth and four sons: Tom Lane [Denise], Steve Lane [Pam], Andrew Lane [Cynthia] and Jim Lane [Lynn]; brother James “Jimmy” Parris, Sr. [Dr. Sharon]; sister-in-law Florence Parris; nieces the Honourable Paula Cox, JP, [Jermaine], Angie Farquharson [Derek], Tawanna Wedderburn [Livingston], Shawnette Miller [Norman], Anita Parris, Joy Jacques [Barthelemey]; nephews Jeremy Cox [Michelle], Robert Cox [Jennifer], Victor Parris Jr. [Cherie], Ricardo Parris [Sally], Michael Parris, Dr. James Parris, Jr. [Emma], Roger Parris, Jr. [Melody]; grandchildren Jessica Lane, Natalie Jansen [Brian], Mark Lane, Katie Ormonde [Chris], Andy Lane, Emmie Lane, and great-grandchildren; special cousin Norman Pogson; special friends Eugene Woods, Eldon Daniels, Dilton Robinson, Norbert Simmons, Susan Wilson, Kevin Winter, Alan Card, Nathan Rego, Christopher Burgess, Andrew Card, Edward “Icewater” Smith, James Famous, and other close relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
“Captain” Noel was predeceased by aunts Lillian Liburd, Priscilla Pogson; uncle Roger Liburd; and special cousin Ethel Godwin.
Visitation will be held at Augustus Funeral Home Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
