N’Zhari Khiam Phillips

It is with profound sadness that we announce the tragic death of our beloved N’Zhari Khiam Phillips, affectionately known as “Sali”, on Saturday, October 17, 2026.
N’Zhari was the cherished son of Wendeisha Phillips and Leonard Burgess. He was a loving and devoted father to his precious daughter, Yara Phillips, who will forever carry his love and legacy, and a big brother to Etudaye, Andwele and Malano.
He was the treasured grandson of Daisy May Grimes, Patricia and Roger Lee, and beloved great-grandson of Lola Beane.
He shared a special bond with his first cousins, Yukhari, Zuay and Anias, and his second cousin, Yhir, whom he supported with love and companionship at school.
N’Zhari was deeply loved as a son, father, brother, grandson, great-grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. Though his life was far too short, his love and memory will remain in our hearts forever.
Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. Forever loved, deeply missed and eternally remembered.
Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
