Osagi defied boundaries and the great theme of his life was love and hence it is with a broken heart that we announce the passing of our Osagi Ojahri Bascome [Gebre Kristos] of West Unit, 69 Wellington Slip Road, St Georges GE02 in his 24th year, who made a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Osagi was a light in this world, his light will continue to shine within his beloved mother Carla and father Herbert Bascome, proud brothers Oronde [Kimonea], Okera [Chan], Onias [Christia] and Oyinde Bascome, loving partner and confidante Farah Steede, devoted grandparents Gregory and Angela Foggo, Herbert Bascome Sr. and Denise Fishel, precious nieces Emecca and Iyla Bascome and Lahn Foggo, treasured nephew Aoki DelValle-Bascome.
We will memorialize Osagi Ojahri Bascome [Gebre Kristos] at the St George’s Cricket Club, Wellington Oval, 56 Slip Road St Georges on Sunday 16 January 2022 at 1:00PM by celebrating his wonderful life of love, adventure and sport. This is a SAFEKEY event and face masks, hand sanitising and social distancing will be observed.

Although Osagi’s life ended before we were ready, the time that he spent in our lives was full of joy. Osagi was pre-deceased by his trusted friend and brother Mazhaye Burchall.
We express our heartfelt thanks for your prayers, visits, cards and acts of kindness during this immensely difficult time for our family. We feel some measure of peace knowing our baller can rest easy now. Osagi would want us to support causes that transform and heal the life of another.
