Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Mrs. Paula Loretta Furbert.
A celebration of life service for Mrs. Paula Loretta Mills, beloved wife of 45 years to Eric George “Peaches” Furbert, precious daughter of the late Beatrice E. Mills and the late John S. Mills, loving mother to daughters Erica Smith [Trevor], Thea Furbert, and Stacy Hill [Troy], cherished sister to brothers Johnny Mills, Webster Mills, and Kenneth Mills [Marlene], devoted grandmother to Cirè Furbert-Lambert, Tristan Hill, and Zaria Hill in her 77th year, of 17 Coral Hill Lane, Warwick, will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, Pembroke on Friday June 7th, 2024, at 3:00 pm.
Interment will follow at Pembroke Parish Cemetery, Pembroke.
Relatives and friends may pay their final respects at Augustus Funeral Home on Thursday, June 6th, 2024, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
The family kindly asks for colours to be worn for the celebration of Paula’s vibrant life.
In place of flowers, donations can be made at P.A.L.S. Bermuda Cancer Care and Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre in Paula’s name.
She is survived by sisters-in-law Berlene Smith [Vagunel], Renee Furbert, Bernadette Belboda, Cecilia James, Floretta Davis, Glendora Pearman [Franklyn]; brothers-in-law Burlington “Mackie” Furbert, Reid “Collie” Furbert, Michael Belboda, George Belboda, Glenn Belboda; nieces Angelique Adderley, Sophia McCray, Tracy Subair, Fawn Mills-Trott, Dawnamae Bremar, Lynette Mills, Simone Basden, Ella Mills, Winifred Mills, Antonia Holder, Jeanee Wortham-Ambo, Tawana Lee, Onea Mills, Camille Mills, Lloyquita Symonds, Asha Furbert; nephews David Fubler, Jerome Knights, Christopher Mills, Lasslie Mills, Dion Mills, Mark Mills, John Mills, Jahmal Mills, Jessie Mills, Aaron Carmichael, Webster Mills Jr, Toby Simons; great and great great nieces and nephews; special friends Frances Furbert, Charlene and Dane Brown, Merlin Burt, McClaire Mills, Suzie Clarke; “adopted” daughters Carla Zuill-Ikonwa, Sakena Clarke, Donna Robinson, Emma Williams.
Paula was predeceased by her siblings Gloria Knights, Randolph “Muchachas” Mills, Jeanette “Jessie” Mills, Barbara Mills; Samuel “Brother” Mills; and Gloria “Prudy” Saltus.
