Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Mr. Ralph Ashton Bassett.
A Home Going service for Mr. Ralph Ashton Bassett, son of the late Ashton and Emma Bassett, loving father to Andre Bassett [Sharon], Robin Mason [Andre] and Shalley Bassett, Perry Thompson, mother of the children Audrey Bassett, brother to Norma Davis, Jeanette Galloway, Erline Dowling, Brenda Saunders, the late Eugene and Walter Bassett in his 78th year of 1 North Hill, Pembroke will be held at Heard Chapel Church, Glebe Road, Pembroke Today, January 28, 2016 at 2pm.
Interment will follow at Pembroke Parish Cemetery.
Flowers may be sent.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Heard Chapel Church Today, January 28, 2016 from 1 – 1:55 pm.
Also surviving are grandchildren: Jarazinho [Jasmine], Andra, Brandi and Ayah; great grandchild: Zaya; brother-in-law: Edward Saunders; sister-in-law: June Bassett; 7 nieces, 15 great nieces, 7 great great nieces, 8 nephews, 10 great nephews, 5 great great nephews; special cousin: Sheila Pykes Simmons; godchildren: Patrice Frith Hayward, Amanda Smith, Fredrick Wade II, Donavan Johnson; special friends: James [Jimmy] Famous, Ralph Gardner, Conrad Henry, Maurice [Mice] Brangman, Randolph Hayward, Friswell’s Hill Community and The Heard Chapel Church Family.
Ralph Bassett was predeceased by special friend: Freddie Wade; god children: Patrick Frith and Lisa Smith.
