Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Reginald [Reggie] Edward Saunders.
The celebration of life dervice for Reginald [Reggie] Edward Saunders, [10th April 1936 – 16th December 2024] son of the late Allison [Hardtman] Saunders and the late Robert Elijah Saunders. Former Owner of T1782 loving brother of Dorothy Trimm and Blondell Dillworth, predeceased by brothers David, Donald and Leon Saunders, in his 89th year of 7 Purvis Estate Road, Warwick, WK06, P.O. Box WK260 Warwick WK BX, will be held on Saturday, 4th January 2025 at 2.00 p.m. at St. Paul A.M.E. Church, Victoria Street, Hamilton.
Visitation will be held at Augustus Funeral Home, today, 3rd January 2025 from 6.30 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. only.
Interment will follow at Pembroke Parish Cemetery.
Reginald leaves to cherish his memories, his loving sisters: Dorothy Trimm and Blondell Dillworth; sisters-in-law: Dorothy Minter-Saunders and Enois Saunders both of the USA., nieces: Saundra [Saunders] Shye, USA, Devana Hart; Heather [Hendrickson] Lewis Oacias [John] USA, [and her son Alfred Lewis Jr.]; and Lynn Gilbert [Gene] all of his Wonderful Gems; beloved nephews: Michael Bradshaw [Janet], Roger Trimm [Debra], Scott Saunders, USA, Clarence [Nicky] Saunders [Zoe] UK, Leon Bascome, Clinton [Shumby] Saunders, Kyle Dillworth, Richard Dillworth Jr. UK and Anthony Dillworth; great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews, great-great-great nieces and great-great-great nephews; close cousins: Maurline Lowe, Eardley [Wilbur] Nesbitt, Theophilus Saunders, Edwin Armstrong [Sandra], Albertha “Peaches” Perinchief [Quinton], Linda McHardy, Tyrone Nesbitt, Audrey Nesbitt, Charles Hardtman, Pastor Veronica Outerbridge and numerous other cousins. Extended Family, Brenda and Khayriyyah Daniels, Saunders, Hardtman, Nesbitt, Burgess, Furbert, Armstrong, Augustus and Boyles; numerous god-children; Taxi Operators and Bermuda Bowling Association and numerous other relatives and friends from Bermuda, USA and UK. Predeceased by nieces: Shona Saunders and Zorphora [Paula] Saunders Omabegho; nephews: Darius Saunders, David Saunders Jr. [Jaha Akili Mallory] great nephew Jevon Saunders.
