Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of: – Rita May Smith.
A homegoing service for Rita May Smith loving and devoted mother of Sandra Roberts-Williams [Forrest], the late Harry Maxwell Smith Jr., the late Llewellyn Smith, the late Meredith Smith-Zabielski, and the late Richard Smith, beloved daughter of the late Mark Eugene and Vermont Muriel Smith [née Trott], Sister of Cleta Burgess and Patricia Francis, Grandmother of Maxwell Smith, Levi Perry, Raisa Simons-Smith and Nisa Simons-Smith of #10 Hill Crescent, Pembroke in her 95th year, will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 15 Wilkinson Avenue, Hamilton Parish today Thursday, March 9th, 2023 at 2:00pm.
Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Church Cemetery.
There will be no viewing.
Rita is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Ciara, NiJasz, Nasri, Jayari , Kalayah and A’Ryan; sisters-in-law: Marlene Smith and Lorraine Smith; several nieces and nephews; god-daughter: Linda Smith [USA]; special friends: Ivy Wilson and family, Clarence and Kristyn Hofheins, Gwen Higgins [USA], Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and other family members and friends here and aboard too numerous to mention.
Rita was predeceased by siblings: Mark, Donald, Stanley, Charles, Keith, Winslow, Lorraine and Lucy Smith.
