A celebration of life service for Rita Sylvia Georgina Jones, wife of the late Peniston Jones, daughter of the late Quinton and the late Marion Simons; loving mother to Debra, Donna and Cedric Simons, Craig Burgess and the late Sinclair Simons [Joanne]; sister to the late Winston [Bluff] Simons, the late Albert [Bluff] Simons, Patricia Richards [Ricky], the late Pamela Crockwell, Noel Eugene Simons [Barbara], Brenda Fubler and Randolph Ralph [Randy] Simons in her 82nd year of 24 Bob’s Valley Lane, Sandys will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at the Beulah Tabernacle, 4 Beulah Lane, Sandys at 1.00 p.m. Internment will follow at the St. James Church Cemetery. Viewing will be held at the Beulah Tabernacle on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 12:50 pm.
She will also be lovingly missed by grandchildren: Debrina, Henry, Jonte, Jahmal, Joshua [Mashundae], Jatia, Sinclair, Denzel, Christina, William, Cedtara [Normen], Jahrico and Shayla; great grands: Raheim, Kizaria, Jaheim, Jahni, Jayce, Jakhari, Jozai, Jabari, Jelani, Rayne, Za-den, Dinero, Dae’or, Skylah, Samaiya, Gianna and Namara; and great great grand Ralaya; special friends and family: Monique Amos, Sandra Bean, Eileen Bremar and Mrs. Correia, Marie Caesar, Paulette [Pearl] Codrington, Linda Furbert, Tanya Goodchild; the Burgess, Furbert, Jones [USA and BDA], Seymour [USA and BDA] and Simons families; the Lefroy House family and her Bingo family. There are nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, neighbours and colleagues too numerous to mention.
