It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing on April 9, 2025, of Robert “Robbie” J. G. T. Sinclair of Spanish Point Pembroke in his 94th year.
Robert was the son of the late Douglas Sinclair and Mary Kelly [Johnson] and the beloved husband for 69 years of Bernice; cherished father of Douglas [Lynne], Tommy [Janet], Michael [Colleen], Susan [Eddie] and Holly; adored grandpa of Michael Roy, Matthew, Ashleigh [Zach], Daniel, Heather, Kyla, Jessica [Mitchell], Emily [Olivia], Conor, Ciaran and great grandpa of Nicholas. He will be missed by a much-loved brother, James Kelly [Gail]; dearest friends and brother & sister-in-law, Michael & Fay Leseur; special in-laws, Robert & Jeannie Tatem, Mary Anne Anderson, and the late Bobbie Kanter [Seymour]. Cousins in Scotland, USA, Saba, and Bermuda, especially Millie Foreman; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and godchildren. Many friends in the Town of St. George’s and the Hamilton “Coffee Crew,” and lifelong best friend, Tony Correia.
Special thanks to the devoted caregiver, Jackie Ronquillo, and the wonderful services of P.A.L.S. and Nurse Merlyn.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Cathedral, Cedar Avenue, Hamilton, on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 2 p.m. Interment will immediately follow the service at Holy Calvary Cemetery, Roberts Avenue, Devonshire. Colours may be worn.
