A Homegoing service for Roland Conroy ‘Rocky’ Darrell, husband of Annette Darrell, son of the late Ewing and Ida Darrell, loving father to Glendon Smith (Brandy), Everest Darrell (Chemeca), Nelda Darrell (Arnold), Kim Minks (Herschel), brother to Roswald (Joyce), Randell, Elva Felder (George), Rose Duncan, Lynndell Lovell (Wendell), the late Gary and Dave Darrell, Kay Gilbert, Marilyn Burgess, Nelda Darrell, in his 89th year of ‘Eagle Eye Rock’ 13 Darrell’s Oval, Smith’s, will be held at Marsden Methodist Church, Smith’s on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
Visitation will be held at Augustus Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. also at Marsden Methodist Church, Smith’s on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m.
Interment to follow at Marsden Methodist, Cemetery.
Lovingly survived by grandchildren: Steveland, Herscheo, Kiaaron, Stefan, Chekari, Jhashun, Glendon, Zamair; great-grandchildren: Annae, Arianna, Quest, Ke’Miyah, Anias, Kianni, Kiori, Maya, Avi; mother-in-law: the late Edith Inchcup; father-in-law: the late William Inchcup; brothers-in-law: the late Neil, William, James, Johnny Inchcup, Kenneth Ebbin, Hilton Burgess, Ronald Duncan, Sinclair Gilbert; sisters-in-law: Marynette Ebbin, Carol Sheill, the late Clara Inchcup and Yvonne Cade; special cousins: Pat Swan and Carol Steede; special friends: Reverend Dr. Joseph King, Dr. Daniel and Roseanne Stovell, Charles Burgess, Sam Johansen, Clara Wade, Mario Thompson, Heather Walker, Pastor Joe Whalen.
