Who can find a virtuous woman? For her worth is far above rubies. We mourn and honour the beautiful life of our cherished Ruby Ann Simons, beloved wife of the late Webster [Peter] Simons and faithful daughter of the late Frederick Wainwright and Adrie Wainwright nee Trott at 2:00pm, Saturday, 13th April 2024 at Vernon Temple AME Church, Middle Road, Southampton. Interment will follow the service in St. Mark’s Anglican Cemetery, South Road, Smiths.
Family and friends viewing will be held from 6:00 to 7:30pm Friday, 12th April 2024 at Vernon Temple AME Church, Middle Road, Southampton.
Ruby’s warm and loving nature will be remembered by daughters Zina Simons and Terica Esposito [Antonio], her grandchildren, N’Dea, Marcus and Gabriela, great grandson Arah Iman; sister-in-law, Gladys Wainwright, brothers: Dennis [Natalie] and Morris [Pamela] Wainwright; sisters: Muriel [St Clair] Simmons and Eloise Jenkins; and many more relatives and friends too numerous to mention. Ruby was predeceased by son Dwayne, grandson Maximillian and brothers, Herbert and Gilbert [Edith] Wainwright.
