Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Mrs. Sarah Josephine Smith.
A Home Going service for Mrs. Sarah Josephine Smith, beloved wife of the late Ronald Smith, daughter of the late Harry and Mary Dixon, loving mother to Janet Smith and the late Joseph Dixon, step daughter Marlene James, sister to the late Joseph, George and Clifford Dixon Maria and Elizabeth Allen, Eliza Fenton in her 92nd year of 7 Collectors Hill, Smith’s will be held at St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church, Cedar Avenue, Pembroke Today, March 28, 2017 at 1:30 pm.
Interment will follow at Holy Calvary Cemetery, Devonshire.
Flowers may be sent.
There will be no viewing.
Also surviving are grandchildren: Donna Smith [Jason], Omar Douglas [Tessa], LaTonia and Jah’Mila Smith, Murricko and Tre Iris; great grandchildren: Eli Douglas, Josiah, Elijah, Eden-Rose Smith; nieces: Mariae and Theresa Dixon, Annie Allen; nephews: Roy Dixon [Ada], Anthony Dixon, Andre Landy, Lauren Stuart [Marie], special cousin: Charlotte Powell [Percy], Walter Roban [Nadine]; friends: Fred Raynor and Family, Kathleen Brangman and Family, Draycott Family, Ruth Harvey and Family, Christopher Williams, Ruby Goater and Family, Father’s United; numerous other relatives and friends; many thanks to her caregivers: KEMH Continuing Care Unit and the Staff of Matilda Smith Williams Seniors Residence.
Sarah Smith was predeceased by grandson: Joseph Preece; nephew: Samuel Dixon.
